Membership Info

DSNC is a family oriented club and a close and trusted group of friends.  If you want to hang out with people who care about representing the VW community in a positive and responsible manner this is the club for you.  We do not tolerate illegal drugs, drinking and driving, and disobedience of traffic laws.  From time to time we organize a cruise and demand that all traffic laws are obeyed and that anyone displaying a club sticker represent themselves in a professional and safe manner at all times, not just club outings.

We have monthly meetings during most of the year and interested persons are encouraged to attend and will be recognized at the meeting.

For those individuals who are interested in becoming members, the process itself is relatively simple. To get things going you need to contact a Club member and get their sponsorship.  Sponsorship involves that club member bringing your sponsorship to the attention of a club officer. Once you have a sponsor the membership process can begin.

Once you have a sponsor you must attend a minimum of 2 events in a 6 month period.  An event is any Volkswagen related gathering with at least 2 club members in attendance.  At this point you are eligible for membership.  Final membership is done by a majority vote of the club.  That’s it! We expect all members to participate as much as possible and to attend monthly club meetings.
