Local interest to attend the 24th Annual Vintage Volkswagen Club of America, Golden Gate Chapter’s Spring Meet seemed lackluster. I too was quick to jump on the bandwagon of nay sayers. I have also ruled out the Madera Spring Fling too. Then again it doesn’t take much to persuade me to go to yet another VW event.

Even though it falls on a Wednesday, I was excited to hear other like minded local VW owners were making plans to participate in the Nor Cal Leg of Treffen-X. I put together a plan to organize a cruise starting in Sacramento to eventually meet up with the main body of the 2008 Treffen-X Caravan.
